Robert Konieczny Polish architecture practice – KwK promes has sent us pictures of your residential, ‘single family house in bialy bor’, an entry in the festival this year, the world of architecture in the category of future projects. designed as a meeting place for eight families involved, the project features what appears to be single family house for eight regions of the surface structures that are connected as a common space in the natural slope of the site.
From single family house geometry, a circle, the initial design was altered in a semicircle to provide views to a nearby lake, and to facilitate the use of daylight for each house. programs of the bedrooms for single family house, or night-time’ programs, are in higher level units, creating privacy for each respective families. opening to the south-west with a cut in the landscape, the common feature space floor to ceiling glazing, giving a light atmosphere to overcome the feeling of being underground.
