It is not necessary that you can not have views of water if your house is not near an ocean. Clouds on the banks of a lake, like this house on the shores of Lake Walensee in Switzerland. The House is designed by K_M Architecture and features not only overlooking the lake, but also the view of beautiful mountains nearby. Being surrounded by the nature of the house is made mostly of wood that are mixed with a nice atmosphere. Only great glazing and simplicity of forms shows that it is a piece of work of contemporary architecture. The interior is also designed in a minimalist style to highlight points of view of nature instead of movable objects.
