Integrative natural elements were used to express the theological sensitivity of the congregation as to the physical space. The Fibonacci sequence of natural proportions is the underlying basis for the choir area. The careful placement of the elements (chapel, the walls, the cross, and “red scoop”) is also in harmony with the design in ever-widening spiral. Natural light, as evidenced by the use of skylights and candlelight, and the actual use of wood and stone contribute to important communion of human beings and their natural environment. Quantities through the project focus on the biblical references.
